We are so happy that you have successfully completed your breast cancer treatment and have reclaimed your health and your life. We hope this site will inspire you to improve your quality of life and at the same time contribute to the breast cancer survivorship research through your study participation.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the US and the second leading cause of cancer death for women. In Georgia alone, more than 6000 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed in 2006-2007, making it the second most common form of cancer diagnosed in the state. Cancer survival rates have climbed with the advent of new and more effective surgical and adjuvant therapeutic modalities. However, relatively little has been achieved in improving the quality of life of those survivors.
