Clayton State University School of Health Sciences

In January, 2007, Clayton State University underwent an academic reorganization that resulted in the creation of the School of Nursing and the College of Professional Studies. The former CSU School of Health Sciences was dissolved and the Department of Nursing and the Nurse Managed Clinic were moved to the newly created School of Nursing and the Departments of Dental Hygiene and Health Care Management were moved, along with the Departments of Technical Studies and Aviation Maintenance to the new College of Professional Studies.

Dr. Lisa Eichelberger, Dean of the School of Health Sciences, will continue in that role as Dean, School of Nursing and Dr. Benita Moore, Interim Dean of the School of Technology will assume the interim role as Dean of the College of Professional Studies.

The advisement of nursing, dental hygiene, health care management and health and fitness management students will be provided by the advisors in the School of Nursing until August, 2007. At that time, dental hygiene, health care management and health and fitness management students will be advised by the advisors in the College of Professional Studies.
